Time clocks
A time clock at the door, Continuum behind it.
Collect is the time clock side of Continuum. Employees punch with a PIN, every punch is timed on Continuum’s own clock, and a lost connection loses no punches.
Punching
A PIN, a tap, done.
Each employee punches with their PIN. PIN length is set for your company, from three to eight digits, and no two people hold the same PIN at the same time, so every punch identifies exactly one person.

Timed by Continuum, not the clock
A punch is recorded at the moment Continuum receives it, so a device with a wrong clock cannot mis-time a punch.

Confirmed as soon as it is stored
Placing the punch and recalculating the timesheet happen in the background; the employee is not kept waiting.
Setup
Claim a clock in Manage.
A new device shows a short code. An administrator claims it in Manage, and from then on the device identifies itself on every connection and is named on every punch it takes. Rename a clock or make it inactive at any time.
When the network drops
Punches wait. Nothing is guessed.
Offline
Punches are kept
A clock that loses its connection keeps the punches it takes and sends each one, with the time it was taken, when the connection returns.
Checked
Sensible times only
A stored punch is accepted when its time is up to seven days in the past and no more than one minute ahead. Anything further out is refused, and the clock is told.
Current
The right PINs, offline too
The clock is told when employees are added or made inactive and when PINs change, so it checks the right PINs even while offline.
No clock nearby?
Every phone can be a time clock too.
Employees allowed to use My Time can punch from their own phone. The punch is timed, placed and calculated exactly as a clock’s is, and the timesheet says it came from My Time.
