Exceptions
Problems surface. Nothing is guessed.
When a punch is missing, someone comes in late, or a setting is out of date, Continuum flags it on the punch, shift, day or timesheet it concerns, skips only what it cannot do properly, and calculates the rest. You fix the cause and the timesheet recalculates on its own.
Hours and estimated pay
Hours by pay code, with the estimate beside them.
Every pair of punches is measured to the minute. Continuum finds each hour’s rate, applies the overtime multiplier and adds premiums, then totals the pay period by pay code, by day or by workweek.
Continuum is not payroll software: the hours are the record, and the amounts are estimates to check them against.
